From Debugging Code to Rewiring Human Performance
I’ve always been fascinated by performance — physical, mental, and operational.
As a teenager I thrived in sport: hockey, swimming, martial arts. Movement shaped me. Discipline shaped me. Being pushed, challenged, and tested shaped me.
Then, like many ambitious young people, I followed a different path.
I earned a degree in Software Engineering at the University of Glasgow and spent the next decade in high-pressure roles:
- Engineering trading infrastructure at JP Morgan
- Building and managing global flights routing and timetables services at Skyscanner
- Leading digital transformation at University of Stirling
- Teaching the next generation of developers at CodeClan
I was responsible, at times, for systems worth millions — systems where one mistake could take down an entire trading desk. That pressure teaches you a lot about performance.
It also exposes how fragile the human body and mind can become when pushed too far.
At some point, I realised I’d become an expert at debugging systems…
…but had never learned to debug myself.
That changed everything.
I returned to my roots in fitness, retrained in massage, sports therapy, osteopathic techniques, and eventually sports medicine.
I opened MD Therapy, now rated:

In 2025, my journey came full circle when I trained and graduated as a Team Sports Physician at FC Barcelona, learning directly from some of the world’s leading physios, coaches, and sports scientists.
Today, I blend everything I’ve learned — engineering logic, athletic training, sports psychology, physical rehabilitation, and leadership — to help people perform at their best in every domain of life.
